Vijay Sethupathi is starring in the Telugu remake of the movie Driving License starring Prithviraj. Ravi Teja plays the role played by Prithviraj. The Malayalam film Driving License, produced and starring Prithviraj under the direction of Jean-Paul Lal was well received. Prithviraj played the famous hero in the film. Suraj Venjaramoodu played the lead role.

Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan has acquired the rights to the Telugu remake of the film Driving License. Ram Charan, who is also focusing on production and acting in films, was expected to cast his father in the remake of Driving License. It has been reported that Ravi Teja will play the role of Prithviraj and Vijay Sethupathi will play the role of Suraj in the Telugu remake of the driving license movie.

Suraj is more important than Prithviraj in the film. If so then Vijay Sethupathi will be the highlight in its remake. In this situation, Ravi Teja asked Ram Saran to cast Vijay Sethupathi in the role of Suraj in the remake of Driving License. Vijay Sethupathi played a Villain in Master and Uppena and these movies well-received by the audience. Vijay Sethupathi played the father of heroine Kriti Shetty in the Telugu film Uppena. Even so, he just scored.
